What a sweet lady. She made the world a better place for children that needed another granny. Kellye Derr, July 2, 2020 Carla and Susie, I’m so sorry to hear about your Mom passing. I just smile when I think of her and things she said or done when Carla and our friends would be at her home after we would get out of school to watch tv and eat many gallons of hot sauce! Before they would not allow us to enter at Settlers Ridge, I would always stop and visit with her when she was sitting in the hallway, and she would ask how my Mom was doing. She always cared about others. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend your Mom’s service but wanted you both to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Take care during this trying time.
