Darcy Diaz Alban, age 79, of Frisco, Texas, passed away March 3, 2022. Darcy was born July 14, 1942, in the Philippines, 2nd son of the seven siblings of Jose Alban and Amanda Diaz. He married Melita Mendez on December 30, 1967 in the Philippines.
He is survived by his wife, Melita Alban of Frisco, Texas; daughter, Myra Alban, also of Frisco; son, Joeben Alban and wife, Riza of the Philippines; grandchildren, Joeben Alban, Jr. and Nhira Joy; sister, Thelma Diaz of the Philippines; brother, Salvador Alban, also of the Philippines; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers.
He worked at Purefoods Corporation. He held different positions at the Bureau of Animal Industry and was assigned to various locations. Prior to his retirement, he was the Chief of the Livestock Farm in Masbate under the Bureau of Animal Industry of the Department of Agriculture. He permanently moved to Texas after his retirement to be with family.
The family invites you to a visitation at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, Texas, on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a rosary beginning at 6:30 p.m. The funeral mass is Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 8000 Eldorado Parkway, Frisco, Texas.
