IN LOVING MEMORY

Danyel B. Moffett

May 31 1972 - Mar 18 2021

Danyel B. Moffett of Garland, Texas, passed away on March 18, 2021, at the age of 48.  She was born on May 31, 1972, in Richardson, Texas, to Rodney Jack and Geneva Sue Moffett. Danyel was an amazing woman, a devoted daughter, a loving sister, niece, cousin and loyal friend. She was incredibly beautiful, multi-faceted and very talented. Danyel was a hardworking, go-getter who never met a challenge she wasn’t ready to take on. Her favorite saying was to never ask for permission, ask for forgiveness later. That philosophy seemed to serve her well in life. She worked in the electrical sales industry for more than 25 years, most recently for the Fluke Corporation. Danyel also owned her very successful interior design company, Blondie’s Dream House. She loved beautiful things and helping people turn their houses into the homes of their dreams. Danyel’s other great love was traveling the world. She had recently traveled to Dubai, Africa, Cuba, Russia, Colombia and dozens of places in between. She lived a vibrant, exciting life full of fun and laughter. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Danyel passed away suddenly and unexpectedly while at home. At that moment we have no doubt that she was planning her next great adventure to some foreign land.

She is survived by her beloved, Lance Weston of Garland; father, Rodney Jack Moffett of Waxahachie; sister, Tavish Douglass and brother-in-law, Dan Douglass of Plano; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and her faithful, furry friend, Sandy.

Danyel was preceded in death by her mother, Geneva Sue Moffett.

While Danyel left this earth much too soon, we have no doubt that the mark she left on this world and on everyone’s hearts will last forever. She was truly something special.
