Dante Alexander Vargas-Hall

Dante Alexander Hall, 23, was born to Tanya Vargas Ramos and Arthur Hall in California on July 26, 1996.  He began school in El Paso, Texas before moving to Frisco, Texas.  In Frisco, Dante attended Christie Elementary, Ruth Borchardt Elementary, and Smith Elementary with his mother who served as a district administrator. 

Dante always loved sports and especially loved following the LA Lakers and LA Dodgers. In his youth, he proved to be an avid athlete and enjoyed playing football in the Frisco Football League, basketball with the YMCA, and the AAU team, Coppell Mavericks. Dante excelled in basketball and football while playing french horn for Clark Middle School.  He graduated from Centennial High School in 2014 where he was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society and played Varsity Basketball. 

Dante attended college at Tulane University, University of Texas at El Paso, and graduated May 2019 from New Hampshire State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics.  He recently began his career with Omnitracs in Dallas, Texas. 

Throughout his schooling, Dante worked a variety of jobs, but his true passion was working with children teaching swim lessons and working at AlphaBest, an after-school program.  He graced everyone he met with his polite manner, genuine kindness, and infectious smile.  The children in his life loved him for his pure heart.   

Family was important to Dante and he was continuously surrounded by family and friends who adored him.  He was extremely intelligent with a genuine care and concern for the betterment of all.  Dante was very loving and looked up to his older brother, Xavier, and was enamored with younger sisters, Kennedy and Mara. 

Dante will be missed everyday by his mother, Tanya Ramos and husband, Victor of Plano, Texas; father, Arthur Hall and wife, Paula of Delaware; brother, Xavier Hall of Garland, Texas; sisters, Kennedy Hall of Delaware, Mara Hall of Delware, Katelyn Ramos of McKinney, Texas; grandmothers, Carmen Correa of El Paso, Texas, Maxine Hall of Moreno Valley, California, Rita Ramos of Plano, Texas; grandfather, Joe Ramos of Plano, Texas; grandparents, Will and Alice Webster of Beaver, Pennsylvania; and numerous other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Neale E. Hall; and uncle, Victor Robinson.

A celebration of Dante’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening, August 16, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, Texas 75034.
