Danny Rouse, aged 78, of Oak Point, TX, passed away on the evening of Monday, August 17, 2026. He was born to Clifton Ward and Virginia Florence (Campbell) Rouse, on January 18, 1948.
Dan married the love of his life, Carole Ribbeck, on May 7, 1976, in Fort Worth, TX, and from this union came two beautiful Children, Christopher and Michael.
Dan was a devoted follower of Christ who was raised in the Baptist faith, but then Carole came along and introduced him to her Catholic faith, of which he became what the family humorously referred to as “Batholic”.
Dan received his bachelor's degree from Texas Christian University and then went on to receive his master’s degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder which then led to a very successful and expansive career in finance. He had very prosperous tenures at such companies as AIG, Transamerica Financial, and Merrill Lynch, some of which he designed and wrote financial software for. Outside of his financial career, Dan had many irons in the fire. He spent time as a news anchor, did voice over for radio, worked for both KRLD radio in Dallas, TX, and KXOl radio in Ft Worth, and even owned a radio station in Atlanta, TX. He was also a successful entrepreneur, having a hand in many businesses such as Busse by Bill, Friendly Electronics, and owned and operated many rental properties across the DFW Metroplex.
In his spare time, Dan loved to play golf, he enjoyed woodworking and remodeling, and loved working with computers and playing video games. But his ultimate passion was his flight simulators, which he spent hours working on.
But above all of his accomplishments, He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, whose love and laughter will be truly missed.
Dan leaves behind his loving Wife, Carole Rouse, of Oak Point, TX; Son, Christopher Adam Rouse and Wife Ashleigh, of Corinth, TX; Grandson, Wesley Cooper Rouse, of Corinth, TX; Brother, Clifton Ward Rouse of Tulsa, OK, and Sister, Linda Rouse of Garland, TX, along with a host of other loving family and friend who will cherish his memory.
He is preceded in death by his Parents, Clifton Ward and Virginia Florence (Campbell) Rouse, and his Son, Michael Rouse.
