Danielle Elizabeth Tyler (43) of Plano, Texas passed away on March 13, 2022 in Dallas, Texas.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 19 from 6 to 8 PM at Turrentine Jackson Morrow Funeral Home located at 2525 N Central Expressway in Allen, Texas.

Memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 20 at 1:30 PM at Murphy Road Baptist Church located at 411 S Murphy Road in Murphy, Texas. Pastor Dr. Lash Banks will be officiating the service. Arrangements are by Turrentine Jackson Morrow Funeral.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you contribute to a memorial fund for their sons, Jake and Cody Tyler, or make a donation in her honor to Manda Strong Foundation, a charity that supports young moms battling cancer in the Dallas area.

Dani Tyler was born in Downers Grove, Illinois to Robert and Donna Raney on October 2, 1978. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. She moved to Rowlett, Texas in 2000 to begin teaching at Mesquite High School. She was a beloved history, government and economics teacher, as well as the cheerleading sponsor. Danielle attended Lakepointe Church in Rockwall, active in the singles group where she met a group of lifelong best friends. She married Stephen Craig Tyler on December 29, 2007. Together, they have two boys, Jacob Robert Tyler born on June 24, 2009 and Cody Glenn Tyler born March 7, 2014. In 2016, they relocated to Longview, Texas where Stephen took an offensive coordinator/offensive line coach position at Spring Hill High School. She taught history, psychology, sociology and geography and soon became team lead. While in East Texas, they built a strong network of friends and invested in the lives of many youth. In 2019, they returned to the Dallas Metroplex when Stephen was asked to return to Plano West Senior High School as the offensive coordinator/offensive line coach. Danielle taught history at Allen High School for one year before moving to Plano West Senior High School to join Stephen and the beloved Wolfpack.

Danielle is preceded in death by her father, Bob Raney, her grandmother, Velma Ramey, her grandfather Eugene Ramey and paternal grandparents Dan Raney and Kay Raney.

Danielle is survived by her husband of 14 years, Stephen Tyler, and their children Jake (12) and Cody (8) Tyler; mother Donna Raney; sister Allison Wilson and brother-in-law Michael and their children Aiden and Marshall; her aunt Debbie Welch, cousins Stephanie Snyder and TJ Welch; in-laws Mickey and Brenda Tyler, in-laws Betty and Alan Perkowski; brother-in-law David and sister-in-law Paige Greathouse and nieces Mikaela and Mia; sister-in-law Dawn and brother-in-law Nick Siergiej; sister-in-law Lori and brother-in-law Kevin Ruml and nephews Max and Spencer and niece Julianna.

The family would like to thank the dear friends who have supported them through the past three years, Oncologist Dr. Taboada and Cardiologist Dr. Dao. They would also like to extend gratitude to the communities of Mesquite High School, Allen High School, Spring Hill High School and Plano West Senior High School, as well as the Manda Strong Foundation.
