Daniel W. Carr, age 77, a resident of Cleveland and formerly of Texas, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021 in a local hospital. Mr. Carr was born in Weir City, Kansas and he was the son of the late Violet May Richardson Carr and Chester Warren Carr. His wife, Nancy Sharon Carr and his son, Steven Carr also preceded him in death. Daniel was a U. S. Army Veteran serving in the National Guard. He worked as a Information Tech in the Banking Business for 54 years. Since moving to Cleveland, Daniel attended the North Cleveland Church of God.
Daniel is survived by his daughter, Sharon Carr and her wife, Paige of Chicago, Illinois; daughter in law, Lori Carr of Texas; sister, Helen Smith and her husband, Joe of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 3:00 P. M. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel with Reverend Tim Burdashaw and Mr. Carr's brother in law, Joe Smith officiating. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 28, 2021, at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas.

All are invited to attend the Graveside Service, maintaining social distancing or you may remain in your vehicle. You will be able to listen to the service through speakers set up at the gravesite.
