Daniel “Whitey” Ross Heise, age 65, of Lowry Crossing, Texas passed away November 21, 2007 in McKinney, Texas. He was born July 7, 1942 in Jackson, Michigan to Walter Hubert and Shirley Elizabeth (Hammond) Heise. On July 19, 1997 he married Dianna H. Wilshire-Jackson in Big Bear City, California. Daniel worked as an environmental lab technician and was a lifetime member of the N.R.A and the California Rifle Association. He proudly served in the United States Marines and was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Dianna H. Heise of Lowry Crossing, Texas; sons Jeffrey Heise and James Heise of Orange County, California and Daniel Heise, Jr. of Cave Junction, Oregon; brother, Henry Heise of Jackson, Michigan; sister, Pennye Stevens of Rockhill, South Carolina and five grandchildren. Whitey was a loving father and grandpa to many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Shirley Heise. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 24, 2007 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, McKinney, Texas with Father Steven Bierschenk officiating.
