Daniel Gregg Douglass of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at the age of 55. He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on April 29, 1967, to Gregg and Mary Douglass. Dan was an amazing man, a devoted son, loving husband, brother, uncle, cousin and loyal friend. Dan was incredibly smart, brave, and hard working. He was married to the love of his life and best friend, Tavish Moffett Douglass, for 27 years. After graduating from Mansfield High School in 1985, Dan enlisted in the United States Navy and proudly served his country aboard the USS Daniel Webster (SSBN 626) during the Gulf War. While serving in the Navy, Dan completed training at the Nuclear Power School. After being honorably discharged from the Navy in 1991, Dan returned home to attend college. While attending college, Dan worked alongside his father and younger brother in the family business, Douglass Storage Systems in Fort Worth, Texas. Dan’s real passion, however, was everything computers. He started his own company, NPST Technology Solutions. Dan’s integrity and dedication to his clients led to a very successful career as an IT consultant and web developer. He loved learning, enjoyed reading, and helping other people. Dan loved his dogs, Duke and Daisy, who he considered his babies. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all those who knew him.
Dan is survived by his brother, Judd Douglass and his wife, Kim Douglass, of Fort Worth, Texas; his nieces, Ainslee, Kylee and Preslee Douglass; numerous cousins in Nebraska; and his dogs, Duke and Daisy.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Tavish Douglass; his parents, Gregg and Mary Douglass; his in-laws, Jack and Sue Moffett; and his sister-in-law, Danyel Moffett.
