Daniel Addison “Dano” Holt, 35, of The Colony, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on August 1, 2024. He was born on April 10, 1989, in Manchester, New Hampshire, he was the cherished son of Timothy Daniel Holt and Suzanne (Sherwin) Holt.
Dan graduated from McKinney North High School and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas (UNT). He dedicated his professional life to the Insurance Industry, working as a Broker.
Dan's warmth, kindness, and infectious humor made him a beloved friend and family member. His passions included exploring the outdoors, sharing good food with loved ones, and embracing every moment with enthusiasm and joy. Dan will be remembered for his bright smile and the genuine care he showed to those around him.
He is survived by his devoted mother, Suzanne S. Holt, of McKinney, Texas, as well as a wide circle of friends who will deeply miss him and forever treasure his memory. Dan was preceded in death by his father, Timothy Daniel Holt. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the joy and love he brought into the lives of those who knew him.
A memorial service to honor Dan’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 19, 2024, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel in Allen, Texas. The service will be live-streamed on Dan’s obituary page at https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/daniel-addison-dano-holt. Following the service, the family will host a reception at Rudy’s Bar-B-Q, 1790 North Central Expressway, Allen, Texas 75002, to celebrate and share stories of Dan’s remarkable life.
