Damian Gonzalez, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2026, in McKinney, Texas, at the age of 59. He was born on November 7, 1966, in Mexico, to Jose Angel Gonzalez and Maria Morales.
On December 14, 1991, Damian married the love of his life, Maria Guadalupe Arellano, in Mexico. Together, they built a life centered around love, family, and devotion to one another. Damian was a hardworking man who dedicated his career to working as a heavy equipment operator.
Damian was a faithful member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in McKinney, Texas. His faith and family were important parts of his life, and he will be remembered for the love and care he showed to those around him.
In his free time, Damian enjoyed watching and following baseball and soccer. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his family and the memories they created together.
Damian is survived by his loving wife, Maria Gonzalez; his children, Maria Gonzalez, Francisco Gonzalez, Bryan Gonzalez, and David Gonzalez; and his beloved grandchild, Liam Diaz. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on August 20, 2026, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, located at 411 Paula Road, McKinney, Texas 75069. Following the service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park, where a committal service will be held.
The family received friends during a visitation on Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Damian will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His love, dedication, and memory will live on through his family and the many lives he touched.
