Dalton William-Taylor Holland, 24, of Merit, died October 23, 2018, as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born November 2, 1993, in McKinney, Texas, the son of Christopher and Nicole (Gallina) Holland. He graduated from Bland High School in 2012. He was currently enrolled at UTI Automotive School.
Dalton had many interests in life mostly, skateboarding, video games, his tattoos and his car. He could often be seen being pulled around Arlington on his long board by his beloved dog and best and best friend, Kyoto. He recently found his passion in life in the automotive world and was looking forward to being what he called an “Honest” mechanic.
Dalton is survived by his parents, Christopher and Nichole, of Merit, and his sister Madalynn Holland and her fiancé, James Harvey. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Bill and Kathy Gallina of Carrollton and his paternal grandparents, Charlotte Holloway of Farmersville, and Ken and Terry Holland of Justin. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and classmates.
Visitation will be Friday, October 26, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hurst’s Fielder Baker Funeral Home, 107 N. Washington Street, Farmersville, Texas 75442.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2018 in the chapel at the funeral home. Burial will follow in I. O. O. F. Cemetery in Farmersville, Texas.
