Dallas James Campbell of McKinney, Texas passed away on May 24, 2025, at the age of 13. He was born on April 12, 2012, in Allen, Texas, to James Earl Campbell, Jr. and Breia Monique (Swinney) Campbell.
Dallas was a vibrant and spirited young man whose energy and enthusiasm lit up every room he entered. He was a dynamic presence — full of life, laughter, and love. His passions were as diverse as they were deep: he was an avid basketball player, skateboarder, and athlete who found joy in football, track and field alike.
He had a deep love for music and video gaming, which gave him a creative outlet and a way to connect with friends and family. He brought people together — whether through competition, conversation, or his unforgettable smile. His sense of humor, boundless curiosity, and compassionate heart left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Dallas is survived by his father James Earl Campbell, Jr of Dallas Texas; mother, Breia Campbell of McKinney, Texas; brother, Jayden Williams of Mckinney, Texas; sister, Jayda Williams of McKinney, Texas; grandparents, Kevin and Michelle Davis of McKinney, Texas; grandmother, Lynn Goodson of Desoto, Texas; grandfather, James Campbell, Sr of Dallas, Texas; Papa and Granny, Eric and Brenda Rue of Kansas City, Missouri; aunt, Alexis Swinney; aunt, Alicia Goodson; uncle, Antwain Goodson; aunt, Atisha Goodson; uncle, D’Juan Swinney; uncle, Dominique Swinney; uncle, Donnie Porter; aunt, Dymond Dunlap; uncle, Lajarius "LJ" Allen, aunt and uncle, Jaslyn and Roderick Flood; aunt; Kacia Davis; aunt, Kamilah Davis; aunt, Kavon Davis; aunt; Kawanza Davis; uncle, Torrey Goodson; aunt, Rosalind Williams; aunt, Alexis "Alex" Swinney; aunt, Alyssa Armendariz, and a host of other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by grandfather Levi Swinney and uncle Terence Swinney, Sr.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Church Eleven 32 , 700 Rivercrest Boulevard, Allen, Texas 75002. Following the service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal service.
