Dale Everett Henbest passed away at the age of 86 on January 28, 2021 in McKinney, Texas. He was born on June 30, 1934 to Edward Henbest and Dora Jane Beck in Cassville, Missouri.
Dale was a loving Husband, Father, Grand-Father and Great Grandfather to his family and all who was lucky enough to meet him. He was an Army veteran, a retiree from Dayco and again from Sam’s Club. He always met you with a handshake and never passed up the chance to converse with all he met. He enjoyed being surrounded by his family and friends, a cup of good coffee, a piece of fruit pie, western novels, Texas Rangers baseball on the radio and his old-time gospel shows on Saturday night. He was a godly man and loved his church. He will be missed by many but forgotten by few.
Dale is survived by his wife Lucille Henbest of Farmersville, Texas, Daughter, Susan Moore and husband Patrick of Richardson, Texas, Grandchildren, Daniel Hanna and wife Cassie of Farmersville, Texas, Wesley Hanna of Garland, Texas, and Dustin Hanna and wife Hildi of Wylie, Texas. Great grandchildren, Harper and Halyn Hanna of Farmersville, Texas. Dale is also survived by his brother, Donald Henbest and wife Sue of Westminster, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his son, Donald Henbest.
A Visitation will be held at Hurst’s Fielder-Baker Funeral home on Monday, February 1, 2021 from 6-8PM. A Graveside service will be held at I.O.O.F. Cemetery on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at 11:00AM.
