Dale Nolan Kohn passed away February 28, 2024, in McKinney, Texas at the age of 75. Born on February 11, 1949, in Glendale, California, to Eugene William Kohn and Frances Dorothy Grobman, Dale leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and passion for life.
He married the love of his life, Patrice McCartan, on October 16, 1993, in Lawrenceville, Georgia, and together they built a foundation of love and support that lasted a lifetime. A graduate of Charles F. Brush High School in Lyndhurst, Ohio, Dale's thirst for knowledge led him to pursue a degree in philosophy at Ohio State University. He began his journey in the food and beverage industry, and eventually, he worked at AMPAD, where he dedicated 33 years of his life before retiring in 2013.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Dale had a wide range of interests and passions. He had a deep love for baseball, music, sports, computers, history, and reading. However, above all else, his family was his greatest joy and priority. Dale poured his heart and soul into his role as a husband, father, and grandfather, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones and creating cherished memories that will be treasured forever.
Dale is survived by his wife, Patrice Kohn of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Katie Wilson of McKinney, Texas; brother, Don Kohn and wife, Deb of Burton, Ohio; granddaughter, Lauren Elizabeth Wilson; nephews, David Kohn and Michael Kohn, and brother-in-law, Michael McCartian of Gallatin, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
