Srader, Cynthia Kaye

Cynthia Kaye (Hacker) Srader

July 4, 1952 - January 6, 2021

Cynthia Kaye (Hacker) Srader of McKinney, Texas went to be with her Lord January 6, 2021. Kaye was born July 4, 1952 in Odessa, Texas. After graduating from O’Donnell High School she married her husband, Danny on January 25, 1971.

Kaye was the mother of two sons, nana to five grandchildren, and a friend to many. She loved joining friends for dinners out and if old friends were unable to join she could always seem to make new ones wherever she went. Kaye routinely spoiled her grandkids on “Nana dates” where they typically skipped meals and went straight to dessert, did arts and crafts together, baked cakes, or went shopping.

Kaye was preceded in death by her sister, Jeana; father, Harold; brother, Ray and most recently her mother, Avonne. They are without a doubt enjoying a loud and lively reunion in heaven today.

Kaye is survived by, and dearly missed by, her husband, Danny of McKinney, Texas; sons, Cody of Navasota, Texas and Nick and his wife, Elisabeth of McKinney Texas; grandchildren, Caton and his wife, April of Waco, Texas and Rylan, Ransom, Reagan and Reese, all of McKinney, Texas; additionally she is survived by numerous nieces and nephews who brought her great joy, and many dear loved ones who, though not related by blood or marriage, can only be described as family.

A visitation in her honor will be held Monday January 11, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Crosspoint Church, 2101 South Stonebridge Drive, McKinney, Texas 75070. Masks are required for all guests. A celebration of life service will be scheduled for sometime in the future. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Kaye’s memory to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation www.cff.org/Give-Today.

Uncle Danny, I was gutted to hear that Aunt Kaye had passed away. You and her have always been a source of joy, love, and grace to Trent and me. In many ways, Trent and I won the unofficial "Aunt and Uncle Lottery of Texas" when ping pong balls with you and Kaye's name popped up. We are very lucky to have had her as our aunt. Brittany and I are praying for you, Cody, Nick and the rest of the family. I have never said it directly, but I hope you know how much I admire, respect, and love you. - Matt Matt and Brittany Martin, January 12, 2021 Good buddies!
