IN LOVING MEMORY

Cynthia "Cindy" Kay Davidson

Aug 26 1960 - Jul 23 2024

Cynthia “Cindy” Kay Davidson, age 63, was called home July 23, 2024, in Plano, Texas.  She was born on August 26, 1960, in Hamilton, Ohio, to her loving parents William Frank Tharp and Elinor Louise (Quick) Macko.

Cindy had many passions and hobbies. She was often found in her garden, going for walks, drinking coffee, shopping at The Home Depot, baking, and doing puzzles. Her creativity and love overflowed with every thing she did. She adored spending holidays with her family and friends, creating memories that will be cherished forever. Cindy had a strong faith, would regularly attend Watermark Community Church, and never stopped sharing the love of Jesus.

Cindy worked as a Special Education Assistant at Barksdale Elementary School in Plano, Texas from 2017 through 2024. It brought her so much joy to pour her heart and soul into her students every single day. There was never a moment where she wasn’t bragging about them and counting down the hours to return to school. Prior to her time at Barksdale, she was a homemaker devoting her life to raising her children and serving those around her. She was always known to be kind, immensely generous, selfless, and had a heart of gold that made a lasting impact on everyone she met.

Cindy is survived by her son, Tyler Davidson and wife Shelbi, of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Sarah Davidson, of Plano, Texas; grandchildren Paisley and Piper Stetler; sisters, Janice Napier, and Diana Miles, both of Hamilton, Ohio; and a host of family members, colleagues, students, and friends, who will miss her dearly and forever cherish her.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, William Tharp and Elinor Macko.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 27, 2024, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. The service will also be live streamed at the following link: https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/cynthia-cindy-kay-davidson.
