Cynthia “Cindy” Joyce Brown of McKinney, Texas passed away August 4, 2021 at the age of 54. She was born on January 13, 1967 to James Newsome and Wilma Joyce (Brooks) Newsome in Miami, Florida. Cynthia married Charles Lee Brown on December 1, 2000 in Hawaii. She enjoyed working with the people in need of Good Days in Frisco, Texas. Cynthia was also a baseball fanatic. She was of the Methodist faith. Cynthia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her.
Cynthia is survived by her husband, Charles Brown of McKinney, Texas; son, Jeff Yaughn and wife, Michelle of Columbus, Georgia, daughter, Samantha Dixon of Columbus, Georgia; son, Christopher Brown, daughter, Caleigh Brown, and son, Chase Brown, all of McKinney, Texas; three grandchildren, Bentley, Tanner, and Maggie; sister, Sandra Rhodes and husband, Ron of Columbus, Georgia; numerous other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
