Curtis Matthew Hall

Curtis Matthew Hall, age 25, passed away on December 16, 2016.  Curtis was born on December 31, 1990 in Allen, Texas to his parents Matthew and Lisa Hall.   Happily engaged to his long-time girlfriend Melanie Hammett, they lived in Allen with their two dogs, Zeus and Batman.  A graduate of Allen High School, he worked in his family's business company, Superior Signs. 

The youngest of three sons, Curtis grew up chasing after his older brothers and cousins.  He loved to make others laugh and was always surrounded with a large group of close friends.  After meeting Melanie, his family and friends knew he had found someone who filled his life with happiness and love.  He enjoyed concerts, traveling, cooking and playing with his dogs.  Curtis will be remembered by his friends and family for his ever-present smile.  

Curtis is survived by his fiancée Melanie Hammett, mother Lisa Williams Hall, father Matthew Hall Jr. and J’Lynn Hall, brothers Christopher Hall and wife Ashley and William Hall and wife Elizabeth, maternal grandfather Gerald Williams and paternal grandmother Sharleine Hall.   He is also survived by his aunt Cheryl Dumais; aunt and uncle Lori and Donald Stanley; cousin Leanne May and husband Dan and children Jacob and Mathias; cousin Heather Davidson and husband Jake; cousin Jeri Dawn Stanley; Melanie's family, Lisa Hammett, Jason Hammett, and Stephanie, Louis, and Penelope Cordova; and many other loving family members and friends.  

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Cherrie Williams and his grandfather, Matthew Kenneth Hall Sr.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas.  Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen.  The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday evening at the funeral home.
