Conrad Harold Arrambide, Jr. passed away October 17, 2022 in McKinney, Texas at the age of 65. He was born to Conrad and Patricia Arrambide, Sr. on November 6, 1956 in El Paso, Texas.
Conrad graduated from Burges High School in El Paso in 1975 where he was Senior Class President and played Varsity Football. He was also the Sports Editor for Stampede, the Burges High School Newspaper. Conrad worked for Southwest Airlines for several years and later became a travel agent. He then moved to Austin and retired from Austin Energy in 2020. Conrad’s hobbies included traveling as he enjoyed going to the beach with friends. He also loved playing the lottery, and he was an avid football fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Longhorns. He loved spoiling his dogs, Rocky, Teddy, Hazel, and Olive with special treats and cuddles. Conrad loved his grandchildren and enjoyed watching wrestling and football with them. He also had special mornings with his granddaughter, letting her make him pretend meals and doing his “hair” while he drank his coffee.
Conrad is survived by his son, Conrad Harold Arrambide, III and wife, Emily, and grandchildren, Conrad Harold IV, Julian Michael and Belicia Florentina Pearl, of McKinney, Texas; mother, Patricia Arrambide of El Paso, Texas; sister, Patricia Fuentes and husband, Richard of El Paso, Texas; brother, Michael Arrambide and wife, Jacqueline of El Paso, Texas; sister, Barbara Arrambide of El Paso, Texas; sister, Theresa Arrambide of Odessa, Texas; and brother Victor Arrambide and wife, Elizabeth of El Paso, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father, Conrad Arrambide, Sr.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Chase Oaks Church, Sloan Creek Campus in Fairview, Texas (611 E. Stacy Rd, 75069), with lunch to follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be given in Conrad’s honor to The All Texas Dachshund Rescue or The American Heart Association.
