Mrs. Connie Lee Milam, age 95, of McKinney, Texas passed away February 28, 2009, in Temple, Texas. She was born on September 22, 1913, in Whitesboro, Texas to Cleve and Ollie (Fielder) Durrett. In 1933, she married Cecil Authur Milam in Whitesboro. Mrs. Milam was a homemaker and a member of the East Fork Baptist Church in McKinney. She is survived by her sons, Ben Milam and his wife, Julia of Palmer, Alaska, Loyd Milam of Spokane, Washington, and Robert Milam of McKinney; daughter, Wanda Milam of Temple, Texas; 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren; and a host of other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil; 1 sister and 6 brothers. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 4, 2009, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment will follow at Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
