Connie Elizabeth McGillen, age 44, of McKinney, Texas, passed away February 22, 2009. She was born September 7, 1964 in Jacksonville, Florida to James David and Norma Jo (Buie) Stillman. On March 6, 1993, Connie married Jon David McGillen in St. Pete Beach, Florida. Connie graduated from Boca Ciega High School. She attended Mars Hill College and graduated from Florida State University. She is survived by her husband, Jon David McGillen of McKinney, Texas; sons, Austin David and Conner James McGillen both of McKinney; parents, David and Norma Stillman of St. Pete Beach, Florida; sisters, Cary Lynn Ellexson of Acworth, Georgia and Amy Caroline Gibbs of Suwanee, Georgia. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 28, 2009 at Stonebridge United Methodist Church with Rev. John Mollet and Rev. Emily Bell officiating. The family will receive friends during a remembrance gathering on Friday evening beginning at 6:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
