Colleen Rausch, age 61, of Plano , Texas passed away May 30, 2010. She was born February 28, 1949, in Brooklyn , New York , to Thomas and Betty Lou (Neiderhiser) Muglia. After meeting in high school, Colleen married Gustave “Guy” Rausch on March 22, 1970, in New York . They were married forty years this past March. She will be remembered as a kind and gentle woman who was a beloved wife, loving mother, and caring grandmother. Colleen was a guiding light that helped others find their path in life. She is survived by her husband Gustave “Guy” B. Rausch III; sons, Gustave “Guy” B. Rausch IV and wife Jennava, Eric T. Rausch and wife Kimberly; grandson, Rider Nixon Rausch; sister, Peggy Zorn; mother, Betty Muglia; and other loving friends and family members. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Muglia. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen , Texas . Interment will take place at DFW National Cemetery on Monday, June 7, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Saturday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
