Cody Gene “CodyMan” Jordan was born January 11, 1984 to Larry Gene Jordan and Gwyn Muse Jordan at Dallas, Texas. He passed away on September 20, 2020 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas at the age of 36 years, surrounded by his family.

Cody was the oldest of twins and loved his little brother very much. He graduated from Whitewright High School through the special needs Life Skills class in Howe where he made many friends for life. He was a Baptist.

Cody was a special person who was innocent and pure of heart. He had a beautiful smile, a fun personality with a hint of mischief. He was a very loving person and loved everybody and everybody loved him. Cody loved games, dominos, Playstation and arm wrestling which he always won. He loved baseball, playing catch, and playing in the Challenger League Baseball for over 20 years.

He is survived by his parents, Larry and Gwyn Jordan of Whitewright; twin-brother, Kyle Jordan (girlfriend, Larisa Williams) of Whitewright; grandfather, Paschal “Pat” Melugin of Whitewright; favorite uncle Jerry Jordan whose hearts bonded; aunts and uncles, Raymond, Daniel, James, Lonnie, and Terry Jordan, Louetta Clontz, Sherry Frank, and Glen Muse; his special friends at the Life Skills class and especially Miss Rhonda; numerous cousins and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Cassie Jordan, Ralph Muse and Janice Nash Muse Melugin; uncle, Gary Frank; aunts, Judy Hill, Lois Jordan, and Geri Jordan; cousins, Chris Jordan, Gabe Quintero, Elijah Toombs and Kevin Jordan.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the whole staff at Texoma Medical Center who cared for Cody and for them for the last few weeks.

Memorial Services will be held 2PM Saturday, September 26, 2020 at the First Baptist Church, Whitewright, Texas. Jesse Latham and Pastor Dave Bradley will officiate.
