Clydia Juanita "Nita" Painter

Clydia Juanita “Nita” Painter of McKinney, Texas went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the age of 89. She was born on October 7, 1927 to Oscar Lee Turner and Lee Ella Russell Turner in Athens, Alabama.  Nita graduated from Orange High School in Orange, Texas and completed business school in Houston, Texas.  Nita married Charles Painter on December 31, 1962 in Plano, Texas. She worked for the State School of the Deaf in Austin, Texas before her twenty-two year career with Lone Star Liquor Wholesalers in Dallas, Texas. Nita continued working as a manager for her husband who co-owned P&R Auto Supply in Richardson, Texas until his retirement. She currently worked for her dear friend, Winston M. Davis who owned and operated Solitaires Jewelers in Plano, Texas.

She is survived by her daughter, Laura A. Fisher and husband Jerry E. Fisher of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Amanda Jay and husband John Paul of Van Alstyne, Texas, Dustin Smith and partner, Matt Ball of Dallas, Texas, Bill Fisher and wife Amanda of Sherman, Texas, Wendy Craft and husband Darryll of McKinney, Texas; numerous great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many loving relatives and special friends.

Nita was preceded in death by husband, Charlie Painter, son, Billy Mitcham, Jr., and brother, Bill Turner.

A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 25, 2017 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.  Interment is to follow at Plano Mutual Cemetery in Plano, Texas.  The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
