Clinton Dewayne Daniel

Dewayne Daniel, 68, of Little Elm Texas, formerly of Whiteface Texas, went to be with his Heavenly Father on October 30, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. He died in Little Elm, Texas with his family close by. Dewayne was saved June 19, 1955 and baptized June 28, 1955. He reaffirmed his belief that Jesus Christ was the Son of God, died on the cross for his sins; rose again on the third day by confessing before men that he was a sinner saved by grace and was baptized again in the summer of 1969 before he went to Vietnam.

He married Belva Gainer on July 25, 1970 at Whiteface Church of Christ. Dewayne came into this world as Clinton Dewayne Daniel on July 4, 1949 in Borger Texas. He was the son of Clinton Cleo Daniel and Ludie Marcelle Bowen Daniel. He had one older sister, Marcia Kay.  

Dewayne  is survived by his wife of 47 years, Belva Daniel; a son, Brandon Daniel and his wife, Dawnda of Prosper, Texas; a daughter, Tiffany Ansel and her husband, Brent from Bentonville, Arkansas; a sister, Kay Bryant of Durant, Oklahoma;  along with five grandchildren, Ridge Daniel, Coulter Daniel, Judd Daniel, Emory Ansel and Eli Ansel.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton Cleo Daniel and Ludie Marcelle Daniel and by his in-laws, Leonard Gainer and Lula Gainer.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas.  

Remembrance gifts can be sent to the New Mexico Christian Children's Home, PRISMS (Parents and Researchers Interested in Smith-Magenis Syndrome) or any charity of your choice.
