Clifford W. Baxter, age 69, of McKinney, Texas, passed away December 1, 2010, in McKinney. Clifford was born November 21, 1941, in Bloomdale, Texas, to Harold Foster and Vivian Gertrude (Renfrow) Baxter. He married Nancy Jean Webster on June 28, 1963, in Melissa, Texas. Clifford was an aircraft mechanic at Love Field for forty-four years and retired with GE Engine Services. He was also a farmer and cattleman in Collin County for many years. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Baxter, of McKinney, Texas; son, Allan Baxter and wife, Angela of Prosper, Texas; daughter, Theresa Powell and husband, J.J. of McKinney, Texas; grandsons, Cody Allan Baxter and fiancé, Lisa Ragsdale of McKinney, Texas and Cooper Baxter of Prosper, Texas; mother, Vivian Baxter of McKinney, Texas; sister, Freida Rose and husband, Bobby of McKinney, Texas; brother, Lloyd Baxter of Anna, Texas; father-in-law, C. O. Webster of Celina, Texas; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Foster Baxter, sister, Wannella Fowler, and brother-in-law, Nickey Robinson. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, December 4, 2010, at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
