Claudia Faye Holcomb, age 81, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on December 19, 2019. She was born on September 28, 1938, to Willene (Tyre) and Dude Madray in Odum, Georgia. On May 20, 1961, Claudia married James Edward Holcomb on the Turner Air Force Base in Georgia. She worked as a medical technician / assistant in pediatrics. Claudia was an active volunteer with the Frisco Fire Department events such as safety town, Mary Main Street, and birthdays.
Claudia is survived by her daughters, Janice Marie Rose and her husband, Mitch, of White Hall, Arkansas, Laurie Faye Vining of Frisco, Texas; grandson, James Samuel Rose of Memphis, Tennessee; granddaughter, Ashley Elizabeth Vining of Frisco, Texas; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Madray of Odum, Georgia.
Claudia was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Holcomb; parents, Willene and Dude Madray; son-in-law, Steven Vining; two brothers, Red Madray and Dean Madray.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Berkshire Chapel, 9073 Berkshire Drive, Frisco, Texas 75033, on Saturday, December 21, 2019, beginning at 2:00 PM with a Visitation held one hour prior to the service. A Private Burial will be held at DFW National Cemetery.
