Christopher T. Anderson, age 48, passed away on April 25, 2023, in McKinney, Texas. He was born on July 15, 1974, in Longview, Texas, to Rodney Anderson and Linda (Hill) Anderson.
Christopher graduated from Longview High School in 1992 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Sam Houston State University in 2000. He was a dedicated and accomplished leader and his contributions to his professional community will be deeply missed.
In July 2016, Christopher met the love of his life, Michelle Anderson, and the two were married on March 24, 2020, in Allen, Texas.
In addition to his professional achievements, Christopher was an accomplished youth athletics coach, having coached for many years. He was deeply committed to mentoring and guiding young people, and his impact on their lives will be felt for years to come.
Christopher is survived by his wife, Michelle Anderson of Anna, Texas; daughter, Madisen Brooke Anderson of Sequin, Texas, son, Matthew Jason Owens of Bedford, Texas; dad, Rodney Anderson of Longview, Texas; brother, Brice Anderson and wife, Lauren of Dallas, Texas; aunt, Betty Anderson of Marshall, Texas and his 2 dogs, Biggie Paws and Blu Pac.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Anderson.
Christopher was known for his gentle, intelligent, and kind-hearted nature. He was a handsome man with a gentle giant personality. As a loving and doting husband and dad, he was a king to his family and will be remembered for his love and support.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2023, at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The family will receive family and friends during a visitation on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Chris will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and colleagues. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him, and his legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched.
