Chris Eugene Decker passed away on February 20, 2023 in McKinney, Texas at the age of 58. He was born to Wesley Eugene Decker and Iris Nell Edwards in McKinney, Texas on September 20, 1964.
He graduated high school from Plano East High School. Following graduation, Chris worked a plethora of jobs before he started his career at University of Texas at Dallas, where he worked for over 10 years. When he wasn’t working Chris could be found with his family or his peaceful place outdoors hunting.
Chris is survived by his mother, Iris Nell Decker of Allen, Texas; niece, Caitlin Magnuson of Allen, Texas; nephew, Dylan Magnuson of Allen, Texas; nephew, Ryan Magnuson of Allen, Texas; aunt, Judy Jordan of Garland, Texas; great nephew, Dawson Magnuson of Allen, Texas; great niece, Chaselynn Magnuson of Allen, Texas and a host of other loving family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Gene Decker and sister and brother-in-law, Nelda and George Magnuson.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The family will receive family and friends during a visitation on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
