Mr. Christopher Wah Keat Chew, age 55, of Allen, Texas passed away March 26, 2011 in Plano, Texas. He was born on November 20, 1955, to Yeung and Mee Chun (Wong) Chew on Christmas Island (Indian Ocean), where he lived until the age of 15. On August 25, 1979, he married Patricia Bolt in Roanoke, Virginia. Mr. Chew became a United States citizen in 1982. He was of the Christian faith and very devoted to his family. He loved computers, and worked as a system administrator for Hewlett Packard. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Patricia Chew; sons, Gary Bak Cheong Chew of Allen, Texas, Kevin Yik Leong Chew and wife, Lisa of Fairview, Texas, and Michael Yik Keong Chew also of Allen; sisters, Grace Chan-Choy (Tim) and Susan Sit both of Perth, Australia, Cheok Yung (Lester) of New Jersey, Peng Chu (Val) of Windermere, Florida, Swee Smith (Chad) of Pocatello, Idaho; brother, Kin Chew (Pasia) of Carlsbad, California; and a host of other loving family and many friends. Mr. Chew was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Stephen Chew. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 3, 2011, at the Christ The Servant Lutheran Church, 821 S. Greenville in Allen, Texas with Rev. Gordon Illausky officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 7:00-9:00 p.m., Saturday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
