Christopher Calvo-Palacios of McKinney, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on November 27, 2024, at the age of 19. He was born on December 5, 2004, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Roberto Najera Calvo and Mayden Palacios. Christopher worked as a plumber in the construction industry and had a promising future ahead of him. He was a member of Christ Fellowship in McKinney, Texas.
Christopher was a loving son, eagerly anticipating the joy of becoming a father. He was also a cherished brother and a beloved grandson, with a spirit that lit up the lives of all who knew him. His passing leaves an unfillable void in the hearts of those who loved him. He is lovingly remembered and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Christopher, you will always be in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear son, brother, and friend.
He is survived by his mother, Mayden Palacios and husband, Javier Mendez of McKinney, Texas; unborn son, Galileo Christopher Calvo; brothers, Bryan Calvo-Palacios and Jared Calvo-Palcios, both of McKinney; sisters, Carmela Calvo-Palacios and Jeymi Calvo-Palacios, also of McKinney; grandparent, Victor Palacios of Mexico; girlfriend, Dayanara Acevedo of Plano, Texas; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Centro Cristiano Vida Abundante, 1009 Anthony Street, McKinney, Texas 75069. Following the service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013 for a committal service.
The family will receive friends during a visitation on Tuesday afternoon December 3, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Centro Cristiano Vida Abundante in McKinney.
