Eric Filbert, December 9, 2019 Linda, so sorry to hear of the recent loss of your sister, Cheryl. Thinking of you all and sending up prayers along with many hugs!!! Nancy and Mark Kogler, December 7, 2019 I am deeply saddened to hear of CJs passing. Cheryl was very special part of my Depew School memory. We were cheerleaders together and spent a lot of time at each other’s homes. She had a heart for those hurting and advocated for children. She was so supportive to me as an adoptive mom. Being a Texan since 1981 I regret not making more trips or reconnecting with her sooner. RIP my sweet friend, I will always remember you fondly.
Ann Marie Gallagher, December 4, 2019 My heartfelt condolences go out to Cheryl's family and friends. I met Cheryl through my son and daughter-in-law, Rich and Becky Rensing. I live in Raleigh, NC and would visit in Texas where I had the pleasure of meeting Cheryl and her family. Cheryl was such a warm and caring person and always made me feel like I had known her for years. I will miss seeing her smile and her funny wit which always put a happy smile on my face!!! May God embrace her with His everlasting love and may she now rest in peace. Sincerely, Susan
Susan Rensing Waechter, December 4, 2019 My deepest condolences Linda to you and your family. I'll always remember CJ for her constant smile and bubbly spirit!!! She was such a sweetheart. Dave Kugler, December 1, 2019 Cheryl was so special. She was loved and had so many friends. She was the person who called and asked about my parents. She went to see my 90 year old father in skilled nursing when my sister and I happened to be out of town at the same time. She had never met him before. Took him sugar free candy as he was diabetic. I think she fell in love with my Dad Cletus that day. She also told me she did this so her kids would learn from her kind actions. I hope they were watching. Cheryl organized my 50th birthday celebration. We went to the Eagles concert together. She had Downton Abby parties at her house. I took her to her first Bucee’s truck stop on the way to Canton. Taught her to pronounce Waxahachie Tx and Lake Tawakoni. Her from Buffalo and me a native Texan we learned so much from each other. She will be missed. I hope you are finally at peace sweet Cheryl. See you on the courts on the other side dear friend.

Rose Rensing , November 28, 2019 Dear Mike, Andrew, Taylor, My heartfelt sympathy on the loss of Cheryl. My memories of Cheryl were of her younger years. She loved her sports, always quick to smile, and always fast with a comeback. Mike, you were Cheryl's ideal mate. I remember how much in love the two of you were. It's as if you were joined at the hip. Though life changes took us in different directions, my fond memories of both of you will be everlasting. I have no doubt she was a wonderful mother too. May all the wonderful memories you shared help to sustain you through this difficult time.

Joe Puntoriero, November 27, 2019 Cheryl will be so missed by the tennis world at Stonebridge. She brought such joy and laughter to our group. She was my roommate when we went to Arizona for Nationals and we stayed up at night talking. She loved her family, she couldn’t stop talking about her kids. I knew Cheryl for 5 years and through our tennis we became wonderful friends. I love you my friend.
Diane Zaia, November 27, 2019 While she was a few years ahead of me at school, she never gave the impression of lording it over the lower grades. I seem to remember that she was always very nice to everyone she dealt with in the clubs and school groups. My heart goes out to the rest of the family that I did know a little better. I can only imagine what an amazing person she turned out to be after she left Depew and what a great mother she was to her family. Cherish your memories and don't focus too much on the passing. Very respectfully, Paul Paul Hujer, November 27, 2019 So sorry to hear of your passing. May God keep you and your family in his loving arms. Prayers of comfort to all during these difficult times.
