Cheryl Lynn Nightengale, age 51, of McKinney, Texas, passed away January 11, 2008 in McKinney. Cheryl was born March 3, 1956, in Amarillo, Texas, to Robert Wayne and Margaret (Cox) Jackson. She married Rusty Nightengale on October 19, 1986 in Amarillo, Texas. Cheryl was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved boating, camping, fishing and gardening. She is survived by her husband, Rusty; daughter, Kendi McElya of Austin, Texas; son, Anthony Escamilla of The Colony, Texas; granddaughter, Ella Escamilla also of The Colony, Texas; mother, Margaret Jackson of Amarillo, Texas; sister, Shirley Cameron and brother, Danny Jackson, both of Amarillo, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Wayne Jackson. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, January 14, 2008, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in McKinney, Texas with Rev. Danny Buster officiating.
