Charles Arthur Teske, Sr. of Allen, Texas went to be with the Lord on January 8, 2022 at the age of 81. He was born on August 9, 1940 to Frank and Eva Augusta (Reim) Teske in Enid, Oklahoma.  Charles graduated from Carrier High School in 1958 and served 2 tours with the US Navy in the Pacific from 1958-62, 65-66 working on a destroyer as a Sonarman First Class.

Charles retired from Arco in 1989 after 29 years of faithful service.  Not being the type to sit around, Charles then went to work with his friend Dale Kitchens as a traveling oilfield sales rep. where he could engage in his favorite pastimes of telling stories and seeing new places.  His final big adventure was in co-founding Premier Wood Care, Inc. in 2000 with his son Charles Jr. where he worked and sometimes played until 2018.  He also enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting in his younger days and was a devout family man.

He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Teske of Allen, TX; sons, Charles Arthur Teske, Jr. and wife, Kimberly Kay of Rockwall, TX and Jason Teske of Phuket, Thailand; grandchildren, Kody G. Pack, Abbygail Teske, and Tanner Teske; brothers, Larry Teske of Enid, OK, Randy Teske of Carrier, OK, Denny Gibson of Carrier, OK; sisters, Sandy Elledge of Norman, OK, Jody Oldham of Peachtree GA, and Kathy Wright of Muskogee OK; and numerous nieces and nephews.

I am so glad I had a chance to see Uncle Charles this past summer. My husband and I sure enjoyed visiting with him and Aunt Sylvia. We could have talked for hours. That was Uncle Charles, full of stories and conversation. He seemed to light up when he shared his life experiences with others. May the Lord give you peace and comfort at this time. Darla (Pust) Mogga , January 12, 2022 Charlie was a very great friend. I will remember him and the fun we had all of these years.
