Charles Royall, Jr. of Aubrey, Texas passed away on September 11, 2018 at the age of 61. He was born on January 29, 1957 in Galena Park, Texas to Charles and Sybil (Webb) Royall. Charles grew up in North Shore where he graduated from North Shore Senior High School in 1975. His career included working for Methodist Hospital in Houston in the safety department and in the insurance industry for various companies as a senior loss control engineer for the last 20 years. Charles most recently worked at Mitsui Sumitomo. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and cooking. Charles was a member of McDermott Road Church of Christ, Plano, Texas.
Charles is survived by his wife, Susan Royall of Aubrey, Texas; daughters, Cassandra Faith Cossette and husband, Roland of Aubrey, Texas and Christina Hailey Fortune and husband, Bryan of Aubrey, Texas; grandchildren, Abigail Caitlin Royall and Joseph Lyndon Cossette; sisters, Shirley Edwards and husband, Bert of Katy, Texas, Dianne Belville of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, and Jane Parker, of Dallas, Texas; and a brother, John Royall of League City, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Sybil Royall.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 17, 2018 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas. Interment will be held at 4:00 p.m. at Cedar Creek Cemetery in Hempstead, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday, September 16, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
