Charles W. (Chuck) Mitchell passed away at his home in Murphy, Texas, on March 6, 2010. Born on July 28, 1947, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and raised in Olney, Texas, he was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Wilda Mae Mitchell. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Cheryl Mitchell, three children, Chad Mitchell, Scott Mitchell, and Christy Mitchell James, ten grandchildren, brothers, Steve Mitchell and Gary Mitchell and a host of extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10, at Highland Park United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas with Rev. Bill Smith officiating. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., Tuesday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 11, at The Garden of Memories in Paducah, Texas.
