Charles Michael “Mike” Redding, age 68, of McKinney, Texas, passed away on June 22, 2016. He was born August 1, 1947 in Dallas, Texas to Charles Henry and Hilda Lee (Siders) Redding. Mike grew up in Dallas, where he graduated from Jesuit High School; he attended college at Everest College in Everett, Washington where he received his Associates of Arts in Chemistry and Optics. He then attended Seattle University where he received his BA in Commercial and Advertising Art and later attended North Texas State University. On October 18, 1991, Mike married Tiina Marjaana Seppala in Helsinki, Finland. He owned Redicam Productions for many years. Mike enjoyed sailing and traveling all over the world.
He is survived by his wife, Tiina Seppala of McKinney, Texas; daughters, Sara Annika Redding and Alisa Page Redding; brothers, David Redding of Allen, Texas, Robert Redding of Lewisville, Texas and John Redding of Richardson, Texas; sister, Kathy Redding of Spanaway, Washington; several nieces, nephews and a host of other loving family and friends.
Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lee Redding; sister, Mary Ann Herbel; and grandmother, Dorothy Siders.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 8, 2016 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park.
