Rev. Charles Leon Rosson, age 87, of Lewisville, Texas passed away on February 22, 2017 in Carrollton, Texas. He was born on March 21, 1929 in Datto, Arkansas to Lessie (Gage) and Thomas Walter Rosson. On November 15, 1952, Charles married Priscilla Frances Teague in Kannapolis, North Carolina.
Rev. Rosson is survived by his wife, Priscilla of Lewisville,; four children, Dan Rosson (Karen) of Woodstock, Georgia, David Rosson (Jackie) of Corsicana, Texas, Andrea Brown (Tim) of Frisco, Texas and Amy Rosson of Plano, Texas; five grandchildren, Chris Rosson (Sarah), Jonathan Rosson (Hannah), Andrew Brown, Luke Brown and Gracie Brown; three great-grandchildren, Michayla, Hannah and Caden; siblings, Rebecca Williams (Bill), Carter Rosson and Wayne Rosson all of Cleveland, Tennessee; numerous nieces and nephews.
Rev. Charles is preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
Charles spent his life ministering. He was known for his love of people, his keen sense of humor and pride in his family. He was a loyal and faithful friend and servant of God. Rev. Rosson adored and cherished his wife, Priscilla.
A Memorial Service will be held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Frisco Chapel on Sunday, February 26, 2017 beginning at 2:00 PM with Pastor Daniel Erickson officiating.
