Mr. Charles R. Kindle, age 74, of Richardson, Texas, passed away December 25, 2005, in Dallas, Texas. He was born October 16, 1931, in McKinney, Texas, to Herman and Cordelia (Wilson) Kindle. On September 1, 1956, he married Marjorie Stubbs in Amarillo, Texas. Mr. Kindle served twenty years in the U. S. Air Force. Following his military career, he was an inspector with the City of Dallas. Charles was Worshipful Master of 1214 Richardson Masonic Lodge, President of Hella Golf Unit, and President of Texas Shrine Golf Association. He also participated in various functions for the Scottish Rite. He loved golf, bowling, his dog, Hilda, and loved to party and dance.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Marjorie Kindle of Richardson, Texas; and sisters, Margaret Green of Fort Worth, Texas, and Lavenia Ann Hill and husband, Frank of Corsicana, Texas; five nephews; one niece; several great nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
His parents preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, Thursday, December 29 , 2005, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Chaplain Bill Barryman officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
