IN LOVING MEMORY

Charles Joseph Taeschler

Jan 28 1946 - Mar 31 2026

Charles Joseph Taeschler, aged 80, of Little Elm, TX, passed away peacefully March 31, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 28, 1946, in Weehawken, NJ, to Charles William and Mary Theresa (Teti) Taeschler.

Charles married the love of his life, Linda Lorraine Heir, on October 19, 1974, at St. Bernadette’s Parish in Parlin, New Jersey, and from this union came three beautiful children. Charles was a devoted catholic who served as an altar boy at St. Bernadette Parish where he almost gave his life to God and became a priest. After a change of heart, Charles began a career in telecommunications. He began his career as an installer at Western Electric, then moved on to Lucent Technologies where he was a logistics coordinator and proud Union Vice President of the local CWA 1090 until his retirement in 2001. After retiring, Charles decided to pick back up where he left off and went back to work at CBM of America where he finished out his career with a final retirement in 2013 as a logistics manager.

Charles was a straightshooter who didn’t beat around the bush. He loved all things baseball and golf, but one of his favorite pastimes was extreme couponing. If he was anything, he was frugal, and looked for a bargain anywhere he could. But above all this, Charles was a devoted Husband, and a proud and loving Father, Grand Father, and Great Grandfather, who will be truly missed.

Charles is survived by his loving children and their families: Daughter Robbin Taeschler of Little Elm, TX, and her children Tayler, Cody, and Amanda; Son David Taeschler and his wife, Terri, of Sayreville, NJ, and their children Sarah, Kylie, and Brennen; and Daughter Tami Minutillo and her husband, Frank, of Little Elm, TX, and their children Michela and Giuseppe. He is also the proud great-grandfather of Aiden.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Linda Lorraine Heir, and his Parents, Charles William and Mary Theresa (Teti) Taeschler.

The family will receive friends during a visitation April 7, 2026, from 2PM to 4PM, at Turrentine Jackson Morrow Funeral Home Frisco Chapel, 8520 Main St, Frisco, TX, 75033.
