Mr. Charles Edward Hughes, age 59, of McKinney, Texas, passed away May 31, 2005, in McKinney. He was born November 17, 1945, in Dublin, Texas, to Charles and Helen Marie (Stone) Hughes, Jr. He married Judy Baker on February 19, 1972, in the SMU/Cox Chapel in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Hughes served as a Medic in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He is survived by his wife, Judy Hughes of McKinney, Texas; daughters, Victoria Marie Hughes of Bonham, Texas, and Kelly Amanda Hughes of McKinney; mother, Marie Hughes of Mesquite, Texas; sister, Julie Jones and husband, Gary of Mesquite; brother-in-law, Wayne Baker and wife, Geraldine of Florida; nephew, Charles Shane Williams of Mesquite; and numerous other family and friends. His father preceded him in death. There will be a visitation from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M., Thursday, June 2, 2005, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
