Charles Henry Leonard, age 81, of Aubrey, Texas, passed away Monday, January 8, 2018, in Denton, Texas. He was born January 9, 1936, in Beaver City, Nebraska, to Russell and Martha Faye (Milligan) Leonard. Charles married Margurette E. Maret on June 1, 1958, in Gibbon, Nebraska. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and worked as a Teacher after obtaining his Master’s Degree.
Charles is survived by his wife, Margurette Leonard; his sons, Patrick Leonard of Ponder, Texas, and Scott Leonard and his wife, Julie, of Maricopa, Arizona; and his grandchildren, Shelley Rodriquez, Wyatt Leonard and Kaela Leonard, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Martha Faye Leonard; his sister, Janet Leonard; his brother, Robert Leonard; and his grandchild, Matthew Leonard.
The memorial service will be held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, Texas, on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at 10:00 a.m.
