Charles E. Noack, age 86, of Frisco, Texas, went to be with his Savior Jesus Christ on May 15, 2024. He was born May 13, 1938, to Frieda (Lingnau) and Carl Ernest Noack in Vernon, Texas. Charles was an Attorney for Hunt Oil Company in Dallas. On February 14,1981 Charles married Sherrill “Sherry” Lynn Eddins in Farners Branch Texas by their Lutheran Pastor.
Charlie was one of a kind. He was friendly with a quick wit, and people gravitated to his orbit. His dad jokes and sense of humor disarmed and entertained those who knew him. He was a husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many, and no stranger was a stranger long. He had that gift of “it” and a huge heart filled with kindness.
Charlie graduated high school in 1956. He was an All-American football player at Oklaunion High School selected by Prep Football Magazine. He also lettered in four sports. An opposing coach was interviewed after a game and his quote to end his thought was “...man that Noack. He ran all over us tonight.”
Charlie was awarded a football scholarship to North Texas State University and began his journey in life. He was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity and had the nickname “Good Times”. He remained close with many of his fraternity brothers throughout his life. He graduated in 1964 and attended Baylor University law school where he was President of his mid-law class and a member of the Delta Theta Phi law fraternity. He received his Juris Doctor degree in 1966.
Charlie loved Sherry and they were best friends and partners. He was a great father to his children and his goal was to make their lives better than his. He succeeded.
He was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan, and they disappointed him often. Charlie witnessed something he never thought he would, a Texas Ranger World Series win- which put a big grin on his face.
Charlie enjoyed woodworking and gardening. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Frisco and a lifelong believer in Jesus Christ.
Charles is survived by his wife, Sherry Noack; his four children, Charles Scott Noack, Charles Steven Noack, Julie Sigman and her spouse, Spicer Sigman, Alan Magill and his spouse, Kristin Magill; six grandchildren, Kameron Noack, Taylor Noack, Piper Sigman, Spicer Sigman, Brady Magill, and Nick Marti; his brother Arthur Noack and his wife, Clara; and his sister Loretta Burkhart and her husband Gary.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Frieda Noack; and his oldest brother Hubert Carl Noack.
