Charles Ray Crutcher

Charles Ray Crutcher, age 69, of Lewisville, Texas, passed away November 19, 2012, in Dallas, Texas.  Charles was born May 27, 1943, in McKinney, Texas, to Joe Lewis and Nell Bell (Gilbert) Crutcher.  He married Mary Karen Weesner on April 29, 1977, in Farmers Branch, Texas.  Charles was a retired journeyman pipe fitter, a member of Local 100 and, also drove for the Lewisville Independent School District for 14 years.  Charles was the recipient of a donor kidney from his son, Tommy Crutcher.

Charlie enjoyed football, baseball and many other sporting events, especially when coaching his young sons through 10 years of Lewisville and Youngstown, NY Pee Wee sporting activities.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Crutcher of Lewisville, Texas; sons, Joe Crutcher and wife, Jenny of Carrollton, Texas, Tommy Don Crutcher and wife, Melody, also of Carrollton Texas; grandchildren, Jackson Lewis, Lillian Grace, and Khloe Bell; brothers, J. S. Crutcher and wife, Audrey of Ft. Scott, Kansas, P. D. Crutcher of Sachse, Texas,  Donnie Crutcher and wife, Carol of McKinney, Texas;  sisters, Judy Jane Crutcher of McKinney, Texas and Diane Crutcher and Teresa Lumbers, also of McKinney.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and four sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, November 30, 2012, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends during a visitation from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Thursday evening at the funeral home.
