Charles “Chuck” William Grogan, age 78, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022, to be with the Lord Jesus Christ. He was born in Cortland, New York, on October 5, 1943, to Frances (Warner) and Harry James Grogan. Following graduation from Guilderland High School in Guilderland, New York, Chuck completed a 4-year apprentice/school program to become a Journeyman Carpenter. Chuck then had a long and successful career in commercial/high-rise construction. He married the love of his life, Christine “Chris” Henning, in Binghamton, New York, on July 23, 1966, and they were blessed with two sons. Chuck was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
Chuck is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Chris Grogan, of Frisco, Texas; his oldest son, Todd Grogan, of Frisco; his grandchildren, Katherine (Reece) Dunlap, Faith Grogan, Reagan Grogan, Kennedy Grogan, and Ryan Grogan; great grandson, Axel Dunlap; his brothers, Harry (Marianne) Grogan, Michael (Joan) Grogan, and Thomas (Barbara) Grogan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his youngest son, Scott Owen Grogan (Kimberly), and his daughter-in-law, Whitney Shea Grogan.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at First Frisco United Methodist Church, 7659 Preston Road, Frisco, Texas, on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Senior Pastor Mark Vowell and Rev. Cheryl Jones.
