Charles “Chuck” Gerard Chalifoux passed away on August 8, 2023, in Allen, Texas at the age of 72. He was born to Edward and Geraldine (Walles) Chalifoux on November 17, 1950, in Evergreen Park, Illinois.
Chuck graduated from St. Francis High School in Wheaton, Illinois in 1968. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University, graduating in 1972.
Chuck married Janis Anne Reksnis on January 26, 1974. Together, they enjoyed 49 years of wedded bliss, and had three wonderful children. Through life’s joys and challenges, their love remained steadfast.
Chuck spent his career in the printing industry, starting in the bindery at PhotoPress, his family’s business. Chuck’s dedication to the industry led him to serve as the President of Color Dynamics in Allen, Texas, and earn many awards, including PIA MidAmerica’s Visionary Award. Outside of the office, Chuck enjoyed sports, traveling, music, and spending time with his family.
He was a member of the St. Jude Catholic Church in Allen.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Janis Chalifoux of Allen, Texas; daughters, Elizabeth Carter (Jason E.) of Texarkana, Texas, and Amy Cramer (Matthew) of Allen, Texas; son, Jeffrey Chalifoux (Megan) of Springfield, Missouri; grandchildren, Jackson Carter, Eleanor Carter, Colton Cramer, Robert Sawyer Carter, Corie Cramer, and Celine Frances Chalifoux; brothers, Edward Chalifoux, Richard Chalifoux, and William Chalifoux; sisters, Geraldine Dulkoski and Susan Baczak; and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Geraldine Chalifoux; sister Jeanne Bustamante; and brother, John Joseph Chalifoux.
A Memorial Mass service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, August 12, 2023, at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1515 North Greenville Avenue, Allen, Texas 75002. A Rosary Prayer service will be held beforehand, starting at 11:15 a.m.
