Charles "Charlie" Clifford Bryant

Charles “Charlie” Clifford Bryant, age 52, of Temple, Texas, formerly of McKinney, Texas, passed away on December 24, 2016.  He was born January 20, 1964, in Detroit, Michigan to Charles Lewis and Mickey (Kamlay) Bryant.  Charlie graduated from California State University at Fresno with a degree in Recreation Administration.  He was the Park and Recreation Superintendent for the City of Temple.  Charlie loved coaching baseball in McKinney and Temple, especially for his son Alex’s teams.  He loved the outdoors, Disneyworld, Disneyland and anything connected to Harry Potter.

He is survived by his children, Alex Bryant, Sophie Bryant and Gemma Bryant all of McKinney, Texas; parents, Chuck and Mickey Bryant of Chandler, Arizona; sister, Mary Rinne of Gilbert, Arizona; former wife, Heather Frost and husband James of McKinney, Texas and her stepsons, Nathan and Dominic Frost; former mother-in-law and good friend, Linda Lorenzo also of McKinney, Texas; numerous other loving family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
