Charlene Gayle Cobb Cox Audas of McKinney, Texas passed away on December 1, 2020 at the age of 87. She was born on June 13, 1933 to Otis and Ethel (Smallwood) Cobb in Marietta, Oklahoma.  Charlene grew up in Marietta and as a young girl enjoyed barrel racing and rodeo events with her Dad.  She attended Marietta High School where she graduated in 1951. Charlene married Billy J. Audas on April 24, 2002.  Charlene worked in banking and human resources most of her working career retiring from Texaco in 2002.  She enjoyed online shopping and most of all spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Dr. Danny R. Cox and wife, Amy of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Chad Cox and wife, Brooke of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Casey Carroll of Marietta, Oklahoma, and Chase Cox and wife, Rebecca of McKinney, Texas, Erika Elrod and husband, Freddy Meagher of McKinney, Texas, Alyssa Slocum, and Connor Slocum both of McKinney, Texas; great grandchildren, Dakota Cox, Parker Cox, Wyatt Cox, Caden Delgado, and Mason Cantrell; former daughter-in-law Teddi Cox, stepdaughters Catherene Guterezz, Connie Wyatt, Virginia Baze, step granddaughter Olivia Moreno and a host of other loving family and friends.

Charlene was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Ethel Cobb; husband, Billy J. Audas; former husband Dean Cox, grandson-in-law, Jason Carroll, stepson David Audas, many aunts, uncles and cousins including Dr. Charles Bassett and Aunt Mae Carter

A visitation will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, December 6, 2020, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas. The service will also be live streamed at TJMfuneral.com on Charlene’s obituary page by clicking on the following link: Celebrationoflife.tv. After the service, the recorded live stream will be available for viewing at the same link location.

In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, only a limited number of guests will be allowed to attend the Funeral Service.

However, when the maximum number of guests are reached, those who would like to honor Charlene and show their support to her family may remain at the funeral home in your vehicle, where you can watch the live streamed service on your personal device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) or listen through a designated FM radio channel.

Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 7, 2020 at Marietta Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta, Oklahoma.
