Charlavan Cranford, age 68, of Celina, Texas, passed away October 3, 2025. Charlavan was born May 30, 1957, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to James Harold and Barbara Ann (Rychlee) Cook. She graduated from Harrah High School in Harrah, Oklahoma. Charlavan married James Cranford on December 23, 1979, in Carrollton, Texas.
She is survived by her husband, James Cranford of Celina, Texas; mother, Barbara Ann Brimm of Harrah, Oklahoma; brother, John R. Cook and wife, Jackie of Harrah, Oklahoma; Carlee Cook and Brent Cook of Wellston, Oklahoma; and two step-sisters.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Harold Cook.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 Noon, Monday, October 20, 2025, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow, 109 S. Oklahoma Dr., Celina, Texas, 75009. An inurnment will follow the service at Old Celina Cemetery in Celina.
